It all sounds good to me. Nothing good ever comes without a price. And, I believe in the long term with some tweaks and refinements, this is a very good thing for the American citizens.

So you agree that this bill will add taxes on people who make under 250,000?

Hope and Change:

You will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime.

Should have been "Lies and Blame"

Well, technically thats true. Not one single dime. But at least hundreds or thousands instead.

He went to the Bill Clinton school of..... " depends on the definition of the word penalty"

Today the Whitehouse was calling it a "penalty fine" New phrase.

Gee, it's the same list they posted the other day... (You can hear the surprise in *MY* voice!!!!) But they have the same list-numbers, so it saves time....

There's a few that are really funny....

NO... Say it ain't so:

"5. Blue Cross/Blue Shield Tax Hike ($0.4 bil/Jan 2010): The special tax deduction in current law for Blue Cross/Blue Shield companies would only be allowed if 85 percent or more of premium revenues are spent on clinical services. Bill: PPACA; Page: 2,004"

You mean it's a TAX DEDUCTION, but they only get it if they spend at least 85% on their services on their clients--(instead of executive bonuses, advertising and "administrative fees.") Those bastards! How dare they!!

Well, I'm SHOCKED, I tell you, SHOCKED....

---

And it gets WORSE!?!?!

"2. Codification of the “economic substance doctrine” (Tax hike of $4.5 billion). This provision allows the IRS to disallow completely-legal tax deductions and other legal tax-minimizing plans just because the IRS deems that the action lacks “substance” and is merely intended to reduce taxes owed. Bill: Reconciliation Act; Page: 108-113"

So, you're telling me that if some tax-accountant finds a way to take a deduction by some shady means, and the company hasn't actually done anything of substance to earn it, that it could be disallowed?!?!?!

THE HORROR!!! Those bastards!!!

----

Well, dang...It's even WORSE!!!

"10. Surtax on Investment Income ($123 billion/Jan. 2013): Creation of a new, 3.8 percent surtax on investment income earned in households making at least $250,000 ($200,000 single). This would result in the following top tax rates on investment income: Bill: Reconciliation Act; Page: 87-93"

So, you're telling me that the people making OVER $250,000, would actually end up paying the rates on the AMOUNT OVER $250,000 that they PAID UNDER REAGAN AND CLINTON!?!?!

Those bastards!! I'm SHOCKED, I tell you, SHOCKED....
