On July 3, 2008 — the day before Independence Day — Obama said “driving up our national debt from $5 trillion dollars to $9 trillion is irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.” But under Obama’s watch, Republicans note, that very debt has risen another $5 trillion.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Never mind that he made that statement in 2008 on the campaign trail.

I'll give him this campaign hyperbole just as I gave Bush the Elder a pass for "read my lips: no new taxes."

But as bad a president as the right claims him to be, I'm quite surprised they'd have to go back to before he was president to find something to criticize him for.

That's what Barry had to say last August, he did a good job of trying to shed the fault on the GOP but anyone who is paying attention knows you can't just keep spending when you have no money. So did Barry evolve on Gubment spending or has he been possessed by the Bizarro version of John Kerry who was "...against it before I was for it?" Maybe watch the first video again and take note of the record deficit Barry has managed to chalk up in less than a single term.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Oh you mean like starting TWO unfunded wars (at $4 TRILLION and counting) and then keeping them off the books so they won't show up in the deficit under your replacement takes over?

Seen it on tv. I hope it airs over and over again so that people get it. And as the economy tanks more they see him for the incompetent that he is.

Get out your calculator and a pencil and paper, there's some math at the end.

And then Barry did it again in December 2011:

I'm surprised no one is noticing the sever contrast between present day Barry and the Barry who's record of voting against increasing the debt ceiling goes all the way back to 2006. Blatant flip flopping or did he just evolve?
