Well first off... I wasn't saying "it wasn't us REAL Christians" since I don't identify with Christian... I'm an atheist. And I never used that term or suggested that at all.... did I? I was simply relating information about a fringe thinking that is held by various scattered religious groups and social/political organizations. If giving an insight to "Identity" and "Covenant" groups (which is what this thread is about) is a deflection, then you would probably see any discussion about this, other than "Oh my... that's horrible... thank you Lady Jazzer for bringing this to our attention" as a deflection.
But to address your comment, the one that claims someone was implying that "it wasn't us REAL Christians" I will give you some statistics. There are only 200 - 50,000 adherents to this dogma in the United States. And yes, they consider themselves Christians. And it's not for me to judge if they are not real Christians. They actually consider all of the rest of Christiandom as apostate, ergo, they are the only true Christians. Most mainstream Christianity considers these scattered groups to be cults. There are over 150 million professed Christians in the United States, so over all groups like this carry little or no theological persuasion with in the Christian community.
But it's fun to shine a spotlight on these groups... isn't it? And serves in itself as a deflection from the real issues facing our country today. But it's typical of Lady Jazzers "Outrage of the Day." A whole lot of fun and nothing of substance.

Sums it it pretty well
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Must have hit a nerve... Something about white-racism + christians / "ignorant white-trash" that sends them over the edge... "Too close to home" perhaps?

Since you have me on ignore... all you can do is make uninformed statements about the comments on the thread. If you could have read my comments, you would see that I went one step further than you did by actually giving people an insight to these racist white Christian identity groups. And no where did I support them (and I don't). But if you insist on talking to yourself, there's some point where you will be coming across as misinformed and... well... stupid.
