Condi Rice For VP?

The Mutt promised that his VP choice would be anti-abortion, while Rice is on record as being pro choice. But then he flips on everything else, why should this be any different.

The alleged vetting might be nothing more than a sign of respect. Or that they might be considering her for a cabinet job.

Just have to love the way "progressives" use words, don't you? Consistency of definition is something they are entirely incapable of practicing. Dog can't even manage to use a consistent word as the object. "Anti-choice" and "pro-choice", "anti-abortion" and "pro-abortion". "Pro-life" and "anti-life" wouldn't even be something that he would consider using. You are a lot more transparent than you think you are Dog - the jig is up, the word is out, they've finally found you.

Yet another attempt at deflection and personal attacks. Can you keep on point in a thread?

What's the matter Dog - did your fur get rubbed the wrong way when you got caught with your agenda exposed? I know "progressives" don't care for having their tactics exposed to transparency, but I think it important to make people aware of how language is used to manipulate the issue so that they can be on guard - especially during an election cycle. If your intent were to discuss the issue you would have painted both sides with the same brush (pro-life & pro-choice).

If it were possible to consider Rice as a potential VP based on her character and her abilities alone she would be a great candidate. Unfortunately, her selection would begin a cacaphony from the left about Bush and that simple reality will prevent her from being chosen. Romney isn't about to let his selection of a running mate to allow Obama to run against Bush instead of him this election.

Reading the right-wing blogs on the interwebs this morning...

Condi is unacceptable to at least half the conservatives over her pro choice stance. They wouldn't vote for her.

NeoCons: Condi Rice For VP - No White Men Need Apply

So the Neocons have launched a major effort to bully Mitt Romney into naming Condoleeza Rice as his Vice Presidential choice. The Drudge Report at present has a “Drudge Exclusive”, three supporting stories and a Poll on the question.

<snip>

But beyond this, the choice of Rice, an Affirmative Action cipher with no visible talent except for obeying Neocons, is a hugely negative message to white voters. It says that the GOP is indeed terrified of Obama’s Race Card and that a Romney Presidency is likely to degenerate into minority appeasement.

As with McCain, many will not bother to vote

Put a fork in her. She's done.

I don't think Secretary Rice will do it. She's too smart and too classy to be the VP and won't want to drag her personal life through the mud to run. She knows how the liberals and press will treat her. You know, the ones who believe in equality for minorities and women...yes those people.

Why would any woman voluntarily submit herself to the sort of slanted punishment and slander she knows is coming from the presss after what happened to Governor Palin? Yes, the "progressive" press....that one.

Liberal dems ought to be ashamed but hypocrites rarely are.

Hypocrite:
1. A person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion. (Check)

2. A person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings. (Check)

In my world, liberal democrat = hypocrite.

Can't believe anyone would put Palin and Rice on the same level of ANYTHING.
