I think you might actually have some participation if you didn't frame this whole thread as baiting and trolling. I realize from reading the OP that you worded it in such a way as to include current leaders as well as historical ones, but many of your threads recently have been about historical facts regarding political parties and race, and frankly, I could care less myself. The past is the past, and while we can certainly learn from it, it has little to do with what individuals are like in the parties today. I'm sure there are racists, sexists, and more in all of the parties; when I'm voting I care about the individual and their record, and their actions.

SC, whenever forum members continually accuse the Republican Party of being racist, without evidence, I believe that it is appropriate to demonstrate otherwise. I am inviting them to prove their position. I do believe that the evidence against the Democratic Party is overwhelming. Let the liberals present their evidence.
Until then, you, as owner of this forum, should tell certain forum members to "STFU".
I have not baited or trolled. It seems that I have conducted myself quite straightforward. I stated my purpose and set some guidelines and invited posts. I have not been devious in doing this. If the liberals could present their evidence, then I certainly do not want to belong to a political party which is racist and I would immediately change my affiliation.
But it seems that if a person disagrees or cannot intellectually defend his position, then he has been baited. That is a dishonest assessment.
The selection process of the Republican Party assures that racist will not lead the party or be promoted to the top.
Fine, then demonstrate otherwise by showing evidence of laws that Republicans have passed that helps minorities. Or Republicans volunteering in inner-city soup kitchens. If what others post annoys you, you have a perfect right to a.) ask them to back up their claims, or b.) ignore what they say b/c it doesn't affect you personally. What you don't do is come in here obviously spoiling for a fight, typing <crickets chirping> and "Anybody out there" - that's bordering on harassment and really should be done in the Ring if a fight's what you want.
I don't tell anyone to STFU because that would mean that my argument's weak and I got nothing to back it up, it's pathetic. Everyone has a right to their opinion, whether you like it or not. But no one HAS to answer to anyone else on a public forum.

AH. So you are voting for Romney.
Nope, Jill Stein. I don't care if there's not enough support that we'll get only 5% of the votes - that's a mindset that needs to change if we're going to get out of the mess that we're in (that what we try to do on an individual level is ineffective). And honestly, it's not the presidency that matters a bit, it's the Congressional election that does.

You do not realize that "a.) ask them to back up their claims" is exactly what I have done?
I do not agree with your assessment that times have changed and the roles of the parties have reversed. That is just the point that I am trying to show and asked the liberals, of which you are one, to back up their claims.
Or are you putting pressure as owner of this sight to get me to STFU?

Great, so they didn't answer. So what? You can't force them to - and the language I saw here said to me that you were daring them to answer, not inviting them, so you could jump their shit. Now maybe that's not the way you meant it, as language is hard to discern without body language and tone coming through with typed text, but if I thought that, then I'd bet that others did as well and no one's going to respond in a thread in which they feel they are being set up.

Fine, then we agree to disagree. I refuse to assign to an entire party the opinions of a few of its individuals.

rofllol Dude, I wouldn't be posting publicly as I am, merely stating straightforwardly what I saw going down in this thread, if that were the case. This is my personal opinion, as I reserved the right to post, as Science Chic, when I bought this site. I'm here having a conversation with you, and as I already said, I don't tell people to STFU - it's a tool for the weak and abusive IMO.

SC, the liberals did not answer on this thread. I am satisfied with that because I know that there is very little evidence to support their position. I would expect, however, to see evidence of sincerity on their part and maybe question the current outlook that is totally accepted without evidence.
Hell, I was even willing to discuss this outright bigotry and racism by a Republican president.
The racist quote by a Republican president is as follows:
Nixon wanted to cut his secretary of state down to size, he humiliated him with anti-Semitic slurs and even referred to him as "my Jew boy."
