Hot air for the masses and how they flock to the flame blindly believing they will be rewarded. Let's have a quick look at where the Nation is today under Obama and his campaign promises:

- Troops still deployed in Afghanistan, now there are Barry's behest
- GITMO is still open and running better than ever, facility improvements are underway
- The Federal deficit is at $15.7 Trillion dollars and climbing due to record spending by Obama, more than any other president in the history of the nation
- Create jobs? Unemployment is as high as it has ever been in the last 60 years
- Lower the number of impoverished citizens? Today 1 in 7 US citizens qualifies for food stamps.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Here are a few he might have forgotten:

promise to “cut the deficit in half” in his first term, but instead added $5.1 trillion to the federal debt in 3.5 years.

promise to post the text of major federal legislation online for 72 hours prior to its passage. Obamacare was a total breach of this promise.

promise to seek independent watchdog agency to investigate congressional ethics violations

promise to end government control of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

promise to require energy conservation for receiving transportation dollars by local governments

promise to strengthen the Privacy and Civil Liberties Board with subpoena powers and reporting responsibilities (this board does not exist!!!)

promise that he would work to ban the permanent replacement of striking workers, so workers can stand up for themselves without worrying about losing their livelihoods

promise of no Super PACs

promise to end the Bush-era tax cuts

promise to get cap-and-trade passed

promise to send people to the Moon by 2020...and then Mars

promise to guarantee that employees get at least 7 paid sick days per year

promise to introduce a comprehensive immigration reform bill by the end of his first year in office

promise to restrict former lobbyists from serving in Obama administration
