Doesn't making folks prove they have health insurance pose an undue burden on the poor? After all, it's not convenient to apply for health insurance! </sarcasm>

Taxpayer provided health insurance is more accurate.

Congress pays taxes, too. The taxpayers pay for government. It's not like government just provides those to all of us and we say, "Oh, thank you government for doing those things."

Congress doesn't pay taxes.

Individual Congressman and women do pay taxes, senators too. But most of them earn much more from non-goverment sources.

And most don't release their tax returns, at least Mitt releases a year's worth.
