the local media is beginning to use the Aurora situation as an advertising gimmick. Can't watch local TV or listen to local radio without an announcer referring to Aurora with bad music in the background and then sticking in their station's name at the end.
You should have felt like that even way back when they were called "sponsors".
The ONLY reason they are even telling you about the shooting is to sell ads...otherwise everyone involved with the news would be out trying to find other paying tasks. Why would anyone pretend that news is anything but a hook to get you to eat the ads.....ever....I mean ever? I think the thing to be concerned about is are they telling the truth.
The news on the subject is actually over. The best article (no news just opinion) I read about it was one that said lets never say this **(*&Y(*&'s name again. Otherwise we know just about everything there is to know about this. There is no action to be taken except to deal with him in court and punish him if found guilty. This guy has little to do with the past or the future and did not do it for any shared political ideals (which is the current and historical standard to justify the mass killing, slavery and imprisonment).
One way or another, seems that history says that either he will get killed by the govt or by the people they put him in a box with. What more is there to say except to tell us when it happens? I say put any effort in discussion towards helping those directly effected, which the news likely will not do.
Or even better, if we eliminate much of the regulation that gobbled up the economy or sent it elsewhere, perhaps the other 100,000's of losers like this guy will have hope for their future and consider a stunt like this as stupid as it is. I bet we go the other way and get millions more fired by raising the min wage. Wonder what these folks will sit around their apartments thinking about....well if they watch the news we know?
