Have you seen that ad with Romney singing America the Beautiful?
OMG to be an American and hear my president's voice say that he approves this message and then to make fun of another person running for president singing a song full of national pride, just because he sings off tune, just like 99.999% of others.
It just felt low. Don't want either of them in there, but this is an embarrassment, that we would have an official in there that would do this.
I would actually prefer he bend the truth in a debatable way than outright make fun of him, we have just too many issues to actually discuss...it is so rare we hear from our leaders on anything meaningful, like protecting our liberty from them, to waste this time doing shameful things is only going to hurt him.
If he had my vote, he would have LOST it with that ad.
But then I heard Romney's speech yesterday which talked a lot about all the govt control he would use over our lives. He actually seems to think that the govt can find a solution to our poor economy that was designed by govt. involvement. We all know the more they do the less we have, because they can only do what they do with what we have.
To think that people are going to vote for either of these guys??? This is just like team sports...or should I say college sports. No substance, all rhetoric...except in sports we don't care where you came from, why, because you are using actual skills and the president is a popularity contest, just like high school.
NOW if Obama wanted to do this right, he would have aired a commercial with him signing America the Beautiful perfectly. Then I would have some respect. In fact, since this whole election is about being petty in every regard....if he does this, he will get my vote - I will trade a good song for liberty, since liberty is getting run over at every turn anyway.
Or perhaps Romney could sink to Obama's level and air a commercial with a professional singer singing America the Beautiful while showing pictures of people that were slaughtered in Iraq, Afghanistan and by American Police since O took office. It would be expensive, as it make take hours or days to air all the pics. Now that would make things even....
