Tell us, dog, did you pay more than you were legally required to pay? Or are you trolling?
President Obama has never stated that it is illegal to pay more than the minimum required.
Where did he use the word "illegal?" Can you show me a link to that word being used in a quote?
He can't... it's another straw-grasping liberal who's trying to find something, anything of substance to deflect from the real problems in this country that Obama can't fix. Epic fail.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Well... I suspect he can or else Dog wouldn't have used the word. I just want to see the link to the quote so I can read the complete context. I sure Dog has the link.
While I think it's great if candidates release their income taxes, it's pretty clear what the Dems would do with Romney's. They'll just play politics with it, even if no wrong doing were found (and that's up the the IRS to determine, not partisian politics).
They'll gloat that he didn't pay his "fair share" even if he paid everything due. But the funny thing is, even paying 13% is not all that low compared to what most tax payers pay on their federal income tax (which is what we are talking about if you want to see his tax returns). I know people tend to think if they are in the 15% or 25% tax bracket, that's what they pay. But no. After exemptions, deductions, credits, and the fact that part their income taxed at the lower 10% or 15% rates, they pay a much lower effective rate.
Nearly half of all income earners pay no federal income tax. On average, the bottom 40% get money back even though they owe nothing. The middle 40-60% of income earners pay on average a 3% effective tax (2005 numbers, but the tax laws haven't changed much since then). Those in the 60-80% income range pay 6%, and those in the 80-100% range pay 14.1%.
Yeah, sure, Romney gets a break due to the type of income he gets. Change the law if you don't like it. But when you consider that over 80% of income earners pay far less than that, how is the outrage justified?

Yep, they do not have much too work with on their side. That is why so many recent recent Romney threads remind me of little yappy dogs snapping at ankles.

Funny....that is the way the righties have been ever since Obama decided to run for president. I guess we can count on yappy dogs here no matter who wins the election......it's good to have continuity!
