I wasn't sure if the general population was aware that this is available online. It is a live stream of Park County Sheriff's Office dispatch.

Good topic. I noticed that Park county only has one internet scanner feed available - so thanks to whoever is broadcasting it. It is a service to the public that they can use.

Our law enforcement and fire department communications are supposed to be public information. Many of us have found it more difficult to listen in the last several years because these communications have switched to digital systems and the scanning equipment to monitor them is more costly.

It's my opinion that the citizens should have open access to these communications. A friend of mine is broadcasting the Larimer County Feed and I am the one who broadcasts the Jefferson County Mountain area feed that Becky has posted a link to.

I want to encourge everyone to use these live scanner feed streams - more of us should be aware of how our sheriff and fire departments operate - and what they are up to.

Scooby...Thx for posting that. I often wonder what all the codes mean.
BearMtnHIB.

Thank you streaming the mountain Jeffco feed. I listen everyday as I cannot get Evergreen, Intercanyon and some of the other Fire depts down the hill a bit.
What you do is an awesome service.
