What part of "nope" didn't get through your brain? You can think whatever you want and take any position you want to. To date we still have freedom of speech and I'll be the last one to tell anyone anything different.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

What I do find interesting is this......there has been a lot of criticism about Obama not visiting Israel, yet Republican presidents have rarely visited Israel, and never in their first term.
No Republican president has visited Israel in their first term. President George W. Bush didn’t visit Israel until the eighth year of his presidency. The only two U.S. presidents to make an official state visit to Israel during their first term were Presidents Carter and Clinton.
President Ronald Reagan never visited Israel during his presidency.
I am simply curious why Obama is being held to a different standard than Republican presidents. He has visited there twice as a senator, the second during his campaign
Prime Minister Netanyahu recognized President Obama’s trip when asked a question about Romney’s, adding that he’d say “pretty much the same things [to Romney that] I’ve said to the presumptive Democratic candidate, Senator Barack Obama, when I greeted him four years ago—roughly the same time—in the campaign.”
So Mitt is doing a good thing, but Obama's trip wasn't enough. Yeah, got it.

Fine, then stop posting something like this:
archer, your position on this topic is interesting in an odd way.
if you aren't willing to explain just what you think my position is that is so "interesting in an odd way"
Let's go back to the original post; Pelosi says Obama has been to Israel "over and over." Depending on how you want to parse the words it's technically true or patently false. I say that Pelosi's claim is false.
Having a sitting POTUS visit allied countries should be fairly obvious, it's a chance to show the flag and make points with the citizens of each allied nation. Clearly Obama has felt no obligation to acknowledge the citizens of Israel by making an official visit as POTUS and it calls our allegiance to our allies into question.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Pelosi is wrong - Obama hasn't been to Israel. You and I can agree that she's full of BS.
Obama has visited the issue of Israel vs. Palestine repeatedly ---- and sincere, honest debate has been quashed more than once by pro-zionist "Christian" neocons.
Why should the US president acknowledge the citizens of Israel?
a) Israel is NOT the democracy it claims to be (it's a democracy if you're Jewish)
b) Israel is NOT capitalist (in fact they're socialist)
c) Israel has little regard for basic human rights (Gaza, the wall, etc).
d) Israel isn't even a great ally ---- they're our top counter-intelligence threat (look at the amount of information they've stolen and occasionally even re-sold over the past few decades).
If there were a first-strike in the Middle East, I'd expect it to come from Israel - which is NOT committed to holding back on first-strikes (i.e. - their military is not strictly defensive).
Believe it or not, I'm not anti-Israel. (I'm simply anti-blank check). A reasonable critical review of Israel shows that they've manipulated politics and power, world-wide. I don't appreciate that - and I don't really think the USA should be endorsing their behavior. (no, it's not a conspiracy --- it's simply determined, effective political action).
For the record, President Obama should follow Reagan's example, and visit Israel as much as Reagan did........
(psst
Carter and Clinton visited Israel more than Reagan and the Bushes, combined).
So going to Israel as a senator and presidential candidate is "Obama hasn't been to Israel"? Which is why I asked the question if Pelosi had specifically said he had been to Israel as POTUS. Again, why is Obama's not going to Israel as POTUS calling our allegiance with Israel into question, but Reagan's not going to Israel didn't? Obama has met with the Netanyahu 9 times,
Obama has met with Netanyahu more often than he has with any other world leader.
Apparently it will never be enough.....but personally I think Obama has done as much, or more, for Israel than many of his predecessors, but still he gets accused of being anti-Israel. Israel is not our only ally in the world.
Why is visiting Israel important in their eyes? Because they don't trust Obama? He has been much more sympathetic to the Palestinians than most other Republican Presidents.
But, I can totally understand why the Secret Service doesn't want Barack to visit Israel, security would be a nightmare even if he did a secret visit.
