Abortion is legal?
The private ownership of guns is legal, but you can still write laws concerning what types of guns you can buy and how long you can wait before buying them.

We have shed nearly 5 million jobs before Obama took office? Yes, the unemployment rate was in the 7's in 2008, but now it has been bumped up to 8.2% for years, Obama, the new normal?

Yes, the worst recession since the Great Depression has changed everything. Didn't you believe Bush when he said this was coming?

The Right likes to talk about how bad things are now and how much money was "wasted" because unemployment hasn't changed much... but they never pause to consider how much worse the country might be now if those "extraordinary measures" (Bush's words) weren't taken.

We would be completely out of this recession had it not been for government intervention. Now I can't prove that - except to use other countries as an example.

But I can prove one thing- we are still bogged down in this mess- and the government has spent trillions of our money- and bailes out many sectors of the economy- they swore it would "stimulate" growth- and it has not. This economy is a house of cards- ready to collapse with the first real bad event.

The policy of government intervention has completely failed. Bush said we need it and so did Obama- and they were both wrong.

Maybe the recession would have been worse at first- but it would be over by now and we would be seeing real growth, not an economy propped up with government spending.

My evidence of these facts is the reality that no recession has ever lasted this long- with the exception of the depression, which was the last time the government was this involved in the economy.

Tell me why asia- india-china-south pacific- brasil- peru- columbia- argentina- chile- and many other countries are showing 5+% GDP while we are still stalled.

A propped up economy never finds a clear bottom- and it just bobs along barely keeping it's head above water, and that's exactly what we have here.

In the mean time- it's costing us trillions.

That's as far as I needed to read... you're just hyperbolivating. (don't try looking up that word. I made it up)

Goverment priming the economy did help to flatten the slide, but it has also slowed the recovery. For example, housing prices, if foreclosures had continued at a steady pace, more people now would be able to buy a home. Instead they hve been held at a higher artificial price which many people can't get the financing for.

Yes Raees - the Supreme Court did legislate to allow abortions - in the first trimester of the pregnancy that is. After that the SCOTUS decision leaves open the ability for the States to regulate and restrict access to abortions. Your "facts" are anything but factual. All laws seeking to prevent abortions are not unconstitutional - never have been.
