Romney Wants Business Record Removed From Obama Campaign Attacks

Mitt Romney appears to be seeking an agreement with the Obama campaign to remove his business record from the conversation, a sign that the repeated attacks on his tenure at private equity firm Bain Capital may be getting under the presumptive Republican presidential candidate's skin.

NBC's First Read has the following excerpt from Romney's interview with Chuck Todd, conducted Thursday as part of a forthcoming documentary on MSNBC, in which he said he would like a pledge with Obama barring "personal" attack ads

In response, First Read asked, "Is Romney really saying that scrutinizing his business record -- which he has held up as one of his chief qualifications to be president -- is personal?"

Oh, boo-friggin'-hoo .... So, he holds up his "business record" as a qualification, and when his business and tax-avoidance schemes come under scrutiny he wants to say those are "off-limits"? rofllol  You can't make this stuff up. So, he thinks his business record is "personal"? I don't think so...

But it does do one thing...It shows that revealing the TRUTH about what he's done in his vulture capitalism is hurting him...a lot...

......when the Republicans attacked Obama in 2008, it was all personal, his religion, his church and pastor, his birth certificate, his childhood, his relatives.....but now the Democrats can't even use Romney's signature talking point because it's "personal"?

If Romney can't deal with the rigors of a national campaign without running to the press with complaints and "oh, oh....those mean old democrats called me names"....how can we expect him to survive the rigors of actually being president? Suck it up Romney and learn to deal with adversity. Apparently Romney cannot handle criticism, that does not bode well for his candidacy.

They are reading that differently than I think Mitt intended. He is looking for debate and ads based more on platform and record as opposed to pot smoking, roof dogs, & religion.

Yeah, let's see Romney stand up to incessant attacks on his birth-certificate, his mother's pedigree, church/pastor, childhood, relatives...

Romney's a wuss...as well as a twit.
