For some odd reason none of the usual suspects were quick to draw our attention to this shooting. One wonders why that might be . . . . .A 28-year-old Virginia man was held late Wednesday on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon after a security guard was wounded in the lobby of the Family Research Council, a conservative policy organization, authorities said.

A law enforcement official said the gunman made some remarks opposing the Family Research Council's policies before opening fire.
A source working with the DC Center for the LGBT Community told CNN that Corkins had worked as a volunteer at the center.

Corkins, who told FBI agents that he acted alone, was allegedly armed with a Sig Sauer 9mm handgun and carried with him two magazines, 50 rounds of 9mm ammunition, and fifteen sandwiches from Chick-fil-A.

In my opinion that degree should be classified as a WMD.
It's not enough to check the sanity of gun owners ---- someone should check the sanity of people studying education.
