GOP representatives rebuked after wild night in Israel

You just can not make this stuff up. Yep, the GOP congress really know how to represent the US internationally.

The FBI probed a late-night swim in the Sea of Galilee that involved drinking, numerous GOP freshmen lawmakers, top leadership staff – and one nude member of Congress, according to more than a dozen sources, including eyewitnesses.

The Sea of Galilee, a Christian holy site, is where Jesus is said in the Bible to have walked on water.

These trips to the Holy Land are a rite of passage for members of Congress, as they visit the most sacred sites in the Jewish and Christian faiths – while their Israeli government hosts drive home the huge importance of U.S. support of Israel. That’s partially why, when the trip devolved into drinking and merrymaking, Cantor was livid.

But I understand it's been "handled"... Eric Cantor is supposed to have given him a "stern talking-to"... Well, there you have it.

This from the party that risked the Presidency by having sex with interns in the White House. Both Kennedy and Bill Clinton on that one.

I wasn't aware that either of those incidents occurred in a foreign country and had foreign policy and religious implications...

But I could sit and watch ancient history for hours...

So far not a single conservative here has said these congressmen were wrong, only that at some time a liberal did something wrong. Please tell us conservatives, do you approve of this behavior?

People have been skinny dipping in the Galilee since BC times, been partying on the same shores too. Much ado about nothing.

a) it's good for blackmail.

b) I'm waiting for a rebuke of Israel after a wild night with the GOP ---- but doubt that will happen.

Good grief , they were representing the US Congress, though it wasn't an official visit, they were invited by an Israeli organization. You do know that nudity is illegal in Israel? A drunken party ending up with a late night swim and a skinny dip? That's not boys will be boys, that's conservatives will be conservatives....laws don't apply to them.
