Hundreds of coal miners and their families stand in line while waiting to attend a rally at the Century Mine near Beallsville, Ohio, for Republican presidential candidate, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

47% Obama-46% Romney, Ohio is in play. Must win state for Mitt.

So it turns out that the Ohio minors were required to be at the Romney "rally" and lost their wages for doing so.

The Pepper Pike company that owns the Century Mine told workers that attending the Aug. 14 Romney event would be both mandatory and unpaid, a top company official said Monday morning in a West Virginia radio interview.

A group of employees who feared they'd be fired if they didn't attend the campaign rally in Beallsville, Ohio, complained about it to WWVA radio station talk show host David Blomquist. Blomquist discussed their beefs on the air Monday with Murray Energy Chief Financial Officer Rob Moore.

If Obama is allowed to continue his war on coal the poor miners will lose their job anyway.

The Ohio Secretary of State (republican) is already under scrutiny for some voter registration/early voter shenanigans. They must be real scared of losing Ohio to Obama, again.

Anyone in any energy job who would vote for Obama might as well take a hammer to their own head because voting for Obama would accomplish the very same thing.

I bet ya 90% of those miners will not be voting for Obama- even if the company made it mandatory to attend the rally. Most coal miners know who the enemy is- and it's not the republicans.

Replied by Raees on topic Ohio miners turn on Obama.
The thread title says "Ohio miners turn on Obama" which I took to mean Obama had a fetish for miners. lol

BTW, that sure is a LOT of white guys. Imagine what the right would say if there were a picture of that many black guys lined up to meet Obama. Sheeple, maybe?
