Replied by archer on topic Ohio miners turn on Obama.
You are arguing with a rock dog, if the facts doesn't fit PrintSmith's preconceived narrative, then theycan't be true. Really, how fortunate we are to have our own resident know-it-all.

But any opportunity to use "general government" or "collectivist" in a sentence is worth it, right?

How proud Alinsky would be of you archer. Given you can't destroy the argument, you turn the effort to the person making it. Bravo for you.

I figure any reference to Alinsky is a compliment. He was so good at showing how to politically destroy conservatives, that they still use his name like a dirty word... (Must be because it sounds foreign or something...) Personally, I welcome it.

Your "logic" is that words do not have the meaning that define them. Your logic is quite Orwellian, or should I say Humpty Dumpty in Through the Looking Glass.
