You'd have to ask one of the black entertainers who appeared with them over the years....

Well Harry Reid is a true racist Mormon but none of the liberal sheep seem to care. Imagine if Romney said this:

WASHINGTON — Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid apologized on Saturday for saying the race of Barack Obama – whom he described as a "light skinned" African-American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one" – would help rather than hurt his eventual presidential bid.

Now cue the crickets...

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

He apologized and President Obama accepted.

"As far as I am concerned, the book is closed," he said (two years ago).

That's good enough for me. Besides, this thread is about black support for Romney. I have no doubt some blacks will vote for Romney. I also have no doubt the majority will vote for Obama.

Oh I see. So all it takes is a little forgiveness from a liberal and the racist is no longer a racist. Liberal logic at it's best

Oh and then there's this classic...

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."

More forgiveness washes clean the racism of another liberal.

Just the usual double standard.

Can't find it on line yet but an article in today's LA Times by David Lauter, "Romney, Obama struggle to sway the nation's voters" comes a little bit closer to the truth.

"...but Obama leads 76% to 17% among minority voters, including a 68% to 27% lead among Latinos and nearly a unanimous 92% to 2% margin among blacks."

I'll buy "nearly unanimous" though I suspect the numbers are still off. 2% is still different than 0% in the math I learned in school. I'm still troubled by the suggestion that an entire race of people is voting for a person just because he, too, is of their race. Are we really that shallow or do you want me to believe a race of people would, by some coincidence, ALL agree with a person's policies and all vote that way because they ALL agree with his policies? I'm just not buying it and believe the polsters and the Dems are not giving the race a fair shake.

I think the black population is actually VERY diverse and find these numbers hard to believe.
