Marco Rubio delivers on Democrats’ worst fear

Watch out for this man...

I came away from that interview convinced that we had just found perhaps the most naturally gifted leader in the Republican Party of this generation.

Democrats sensed it, too. When Rubio began gaining traction against Crist, they began to panic. If they didn’t stop him in 2010, they surely thought, Rubio would one day stand at a Republican national convention and apply all of his talents on the broadest political stage and begin undermining all they done to convince Hispanic voters that their natural home was the Democratic Party. Rubio, though, was unstoppable — and last night he delivered the address that Democrats had feared all along.

Marco Rubio will be President of the United States. The only question is when. Val knew it, and then he let me in on the secret early. Now the rest of the nation knows it, too. [/b][/i]

It's really sad when an understudy's speech outshines the nominee in any party.

Yes, they reached out to Hispanics, Women, Blacks, LGBT.... Unfortunately, none of them reached back... I doubt that the needle will move...And if it does for a few days, it will move right back by the end of the Dem convention...

I want to see the birth certificate...AND the tax returns ...

Unfortunately Mitt-the-Twit can be "outshined" by Eastwood's empty chair.

You know... your rhetoric is exactly like the bull crap that you were spewing before the Walker Wisconsin recall election. You were running scared, spouting your inane bile for months on end, and in the end, you were as wrong as anyone could be. And this recent spat of hollow words coming from you is undisputed evidence that you are both unsure of your Messiah Obama and you know you're already beat in November 2012.

Stuff it... you already lost.

Think again D4S. This morning we were canvassing and Rubio and Susana Martinez struck a nerve. For anyone who hadn't seen it we had soundbites on our phones to show people.

Really we start the conversation in Spanish with how's your job situation under Obuma and it's easy after that.

MtnTrekker has been speaking to larger groups in Spanish.

And sharing historical times when Latinos in New Mexico held seats from both parties.

Making inroads D4S. To quote Martinez "I'll be damned, we're Republicans."

IN NOVEMBER 2014, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! DONT BLOW IT!

“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles

The Democratic National Committee is doing its part to get people voting with a new open source web app that lets Americans register online. The app lets potential voters fill out a National Voter Registration Form on the web, which is then converted into a PDF that can be printed and submitted — and to make things a little easier the app also includes all of the necessary registration guidelines and information for each individual state. So if you live in a state that supports online registration you can forgo the PDF all together, as the app will direct you to the appropriate online form.

The code is released under a custom license from the DNC that allows wide re-use of the code, so long as laws aren’t broken.

(perhaps it could be added to 285Bound?)
