'Drink Less, Work More' Advise from a Billionaire

Gina Rinehart seems to court controversy - from her family lawsuits to her battles with Australian media.

Now, the Australian mining heiress, worth $19 billion and earlier this year thought to be the world's richest woman, has sparked another controversy in her latest column in Australian Resources and Investment magazine.

"There is no monopoly on becoming a millionaire," she writes. "If you're jealous of those with more money, don't just sit there and complain. Do something to make more money yourself - spend less time drinking, or smoking and socializing and more time working."

She is exactly right- class warfare is no way to live your life- always envious of everyone who has more than you do. The bible says that covetousness is a deadly sin for a reason.

If you spend all your time complaining about the rich- you will never get rich, you have succumb to your station in life- and it probably fits you.

Those who really suffer from anti-business and anti-investor policies are regular workers who "usually vote for the anti-business socialist parties," she writes. "If you want to help the poor and our next generation, make investment, reinvenstment and businesses welcome."

"Socialist parties"- yea we have plenty of those types in this country, and even on this website!

"The lessons are the same," she writes. "You can't get rich without working hard, taking risks, investing and reinvesting your profits."

The fact is- that it is immoral and sinful to participate and buy into in the class warfare propaganda that (some) of our leaders are blithering about these days.

Grow up people- that rich guy isn't responsible for your being poor - you are responsible for that.

"They Only Call It Class War When We Fight Back"

Strawman garbage...

Nobody is anti-business. We're tired of the super-rich playing by a different set of financial rules, loopholes, gimmicks, shelters, etc. Trickle-down hasn't, doesn't, and won't. You can quote all of your snarky objectivist Randroid silliness you want. But it's not about "envy"...It's about fairness.

Life is not fair, the world we live in is not fair. Didn't your mommy tell you that when you were just a little girl?

If so- then why do you as a "supposed adult" insist on believing the fantasy that you can make the world fair? It's this total ignorance of natural law that liberals refuse to accept as reality. It will lead you all to failure.

That's why you all on the left make no logical sense, and your ideas are poisonous and so destructive. Just look at the results of Socialism around the world- you will get all the answers you need.

What an inspirational story from someone who was born into poverty and worked her way into become a billionaire. Wait, it turns out that she inherited billions and then screwed over her family to make more billions off her daddy's company.

What is really funny is the editorial comment from Bear,
"The fact is- that it is immoral and sinful to participate and buy into in the class warfare propaganda that (some) of our leaders are blithering about these days."

This is from the sociopath who advocating violence and murder against those who have a different political viewpoint than his, now preaching as to the morality and sin of the middle class aspiring for fair tax laws.

"Remember to always be yourself. Unless you can be batman. Then always be batman." Unknown

And there are millions who want to work and can't get jobs thanks to the Obuma administration. He has wasted trillions and the economy is still failing. Let's get someone in there who has a head on his shoulder and can get people working. There are many who are willing to work harder to achieve the American Dream.
