"Reach across the aisle and find good people who like us"??????? Does the phrase "p*ssing up a rope', or "FAT CHANCE" mean anything to him?
"make sure this company deals with its challenges"... THIS COMPANY!?!?!?! Does he really think he can apply his vulture-capitalism to America like one of his screwed-over companies?... Off-shore the jobs...(or is it outsource?...I can never remember...) Leverage the country, pocket the profits and just screw the employees? For a guy who has made a career out of looting, that's quite a program to suggest.
What's scary is that is probably EXACTLY what he has in mind...
Romney seems to make a lot of blunders when trying to give a speech. He might want to try to practice first. Or go back to the ole theory of think before you speak deal.
Do you suppose the "like us" was something as innocuous as a missing comma?

As far as company vs country, definitely a misspeak.
I watched the video...I didn't hear a pause... You can put commas anywhere you like... If he can't figure out the difference between a country and a company, I doubt that inserting commas into his remarks after-the-fact are going to make it make much more sense.
