I've got to hand it to you - you've stuck to your guns, er, I mean your rose colored glasses. The people in my county went from 20% republican to 80%and the numbers were semilar in the sourrounding counties. Before you go doubting me on that figure I know what I'm talking about. I work elections every year. I have never seen a mass exodus from a party like this before. Thankfully most people are not so bound to a party that they can't see the writing on the wall. But keep those glasses on!
I gave you as direct an answer as I need to give.
The bullsh*t around the selective interpretation of the Biden comment has been debunked so many times it's tiresome. I said I agree with the statement that certain segments of the population, in fact, DO fall back on "god, guns and religion" when they don't have anything else in their little lives to fall back on. I don't have much respect for them...And I don't much care where the source of the comment came from.
If you want to play "gotcha", do it with someone else.

Okay, I'll doubt you. Source please.

you don't have to guess. it's right there in black and white. and even more interesting - 1.2 million more republicans signed up to vote (as of the end of July) than dems. AINT IT WONDEROUS! and no, I won't be naming the county I work elections for.
