Why should his kids get all that money- it belongs to the government. He didn't make that happen- Obama needs the money to pay down the 5 trillion dollars he borrowed.

He gave it to his kids charitable foundations.'..I thought you conservatives were all about charity.

We are. Had the government appropriated that money from him in taxes he wouldn't have had it to give to charity and he would have been funding the charitable operations chosen by the government instead of the ones chosen by himself. Who is in a better position to decide who should receive his charity, Buffet himself or the federal government?

By throwing the money into their favorite charity, did he just funnel a bunch of money to his kids and avoid paying gift taxes on it? Is this just a big tax dodge for the richest few?

No, the kids get no financial gain from this. FYI, he gave $1 billion to each of his kids philanthropic foundations some years ago, as well as $37 billion to the Gates Foundation. His plan is to give 99% of his fortune to charitable causes. He is famous for saying he will give his kids only enough for them to do something with their lives, but not enough to allow them to do nothing. FYI, when his daughter hit him up for $40,000 loan to remodel her house, he made her go to the bank instead.

I glad you support his campaign contributions to the reelection of President Obama and to the DNC.

If there is NO difference in either party.....why do you care if it is Romney or Obama who gets elected?
