A good leader is not one who sets records for fundraisers and golf games... and you can't keep blaming the other side for blocking your ideas if you're not willing to sit down with them. If Obama wanted to work with the Republicans, his base would come unglued.

Of course the Republicans were the ones who refused bipartianship, announcing from the very beginning of his term that they would refuse to work with him, and their number one goal was to prevent him from having a record to run for a second term on.

Actually, that was one man's statement... and you know damn well that if Romney is elected, the priority number one for the Dems will be to make sure a dem (Hillary) is elected in 2016. You may not hear anyone say it, but to believe otherwise is living in a dreamland. This is what ALL politicians do, they want power, they want their way... we just have to decide which way we want to go in November.

One man who happened to the the majority leader of the House.

So you agree that all the Dems agree with whatever Biden, Reid, or Pelosi says?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Nope, nor did I say that all Reps agree with McConnell. But he is the leader of the Senate GOP, and dictates their obstructionist policies.

I gotta agree with you there. Obstructionist is the best way to put it. I wrote letters thanking them for trying to stop all the foolishness.

Agreed...but the dems don't give a rat's patootie about the country either, so let's not assume they actually care. All politicians care about power, which is why govt should be much smaller, with the states having the power....since we all can move if the states screw us. We can't do anything about a overpowering federal govt.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

NEITHER O or R have the solution........it will NOT matter who becomes President because the factors that brought us to this fubar
are still in play and will CONTINUE to be in play for quite some time. (translated.....the process still has to unwind further before it
can hit bottom and come back up.....the global economy is in play here and nothing will halt the unwind.

Like I said I cannot hire a screw up that can't produce after 3+ years, and I certainly can't afford to keep him 4 more to see if he improves.

Well you have to admit there are differences in at least what the candidates are saying. Not saying I believe any of it, but we do know what the last president has done and will continue to do. If you like that course, it's a pretty easy decision.
