"Julian Castro is no Barack Obama. And for that, Democrats have themselves to blame.
The focus of this week's Democratic convention was President Obama. Lost in the adulation was the diminished state to which he has brought his broader party. Today's Democrats are a shadow of 2008—struggling for re-election, isolated to a handful of states, lacking reform ideas, bereft of a future political bench. It has been a stunning slide.".................
They're in all the colleges, universities, the ones who can't get into the schools they want because the TeaPublicans want to cut their education funding and student loans; all of the young Hispanics who are being told daily by the RepubliFascists that they aren't welcome here because they are "different"...(even when they are legal and native-born)... Look all around you...
All the GOP is selling is hate, extremism, xenophobia, homophobia, sexism, misogyny, austerity, and "you're on your own"...
In about two more generations the teabaggers of today will be yesterday's joke... (They're already a joke to about 75% of the population today...)
You, sir, are a very nasty and hateful person! If someone is born here and/or here legally, it's a big "Howdy Neighbor" from me! If you are here illegally, there's a problem with that. How many illegals have you invited into your home lately? Maybe you are the "you're-on-your-own-I-claim-to-be-better-than-the-republicans" guy who likes to talk the talk, but when it comes to walking the walk, you'd rather sit back in your easy chair and point fingers. My great-great-grandparents came from Europe and went through the proper channels to become an American, never expecting or wanting any government hand-outs. They understood the concept of "Life, Liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness..." not Life-Liberty-and-you-OWE-ME-some-happiness.
I had no idea you guys cared so much who was going to carry the Democratic flag. Remember when Kerry lost? The right was talking about the end of the Democratic Party because there was no one in the wings. haha It's deja vu all over again.

I would rather that there were no more Democrats but the Constitution allows for citizens to believe as they want and choose to. Freedom of speech and freedom of choice are guaranteed to us, no matter what each of us chooses to believe, at least up to today. Who knows what Barry and his staff have planed for the future.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Unfortunately no one has yet to explain that to the conservatives who seem hell bent on squelching any choices or beliefs but their own.
