Larry Flynt Offering $1 Million For Mitt Romney's Tax Returns
Larry Flynt is at it again.
The Hustler founder is offering a $1 million reward for information on Mitt Romney's taxes, AdWeek reports. Flynt, an outspoken critic of Romney, is taking out two full page ads in Sunday's issues of USA Today and The Washington Post to publicize the offer.
The ad offers cash in exchange for "unreleased tax returns and/or details of his offshore assets, bank accounts and business partnerships.”
"What is he hiding?" Flynt said, according to the Hollywood Reporter. "Maybe now we'll find out."
Flynt's dislike of Romney isn't surprising considering the Republican presidential nominee's promise to crack down on pornography if elected. Flynt told the Daily Caller that Romney's plan is “an idle threat made for political reasons."
This isn't the first time Flynt has offered major cash in exchange for dirt on a politician. In fact, he's been pulling these stunts since the 70s. A similar offer in 2007 brought down Republican Senator David Vitter for his connection to a prostitution ring.
Imagine that - our resident collectivists support enticement to violate federal laws. They are actually agreeing with an effort to violate the privacy of a citizen based solely on the fact that he doesn't agree with their agenda. Sound like any other collectivists from history that you can think of off the top of your head?
The Daily Caller has identified the owner of a website that promised on Tuesday to pay $10,000 to anyone who can provide an authentic copy of President Barack Obama’s course transcripts from his days at Occidental College, Harvard University or Columbia University.
Although its one-page website is presented anonymously, conservative blogger Brooks Bayne confirmed to The Daily Caller that he is responsible for it.
Bayne told TheDC that a group of eight people – including some he called “recognizable” figures – are coordinating the effort to make Obama’s college transcripts public, Bayne told The Daily Caller. He declined to name any of them.
Ahhhh - the old "they do it too" rebuttal. Very effective Raees. Shall I continue in that vein by pointing out that "reporters" engaged in that very behavior by ferreting out and releasing the transcripts of President Bush and yet seem totally disinterested in doing the same for our current president?
