"HOW did the one formerly known as The One go for two?

In his renomination acceptance speech here on Thursday night, he told us that America’s problems were tougher to solve than he had originally thought.

And that’s why he has kindly agreed to give us more time.

Because, after all, it’s our fault.

“So you see, the election four years ago wasn’t about me,” President Obama explained. “It was about you. My fellow citizens, you were the change.”

We were the change! "................................

Yeah, it's too bad that the GOP got a bounce of ZERO after their convention... And the Dems have gotten between 4-5%...

How's that RMoney speech, (that failed to mention the military or the troops or the war or....) work out for ya? Ya think the large majority of the population has a warm-fuzzy that he has a clue about anything other than being a vulture-capitalist?

Last poll I saw calls it a dead heat so I don't think Barack did get a real bounce. Does America really deserve four more years of a guy who isn't qualified for the job and doesn't know how to work with Congress? How many more good paying jobs will be replaced with minimum wage ones. Sure Barack, jobs were created under your watch, crappy ones.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

Obama and his administration was suppose to be the 'change". Remember how it was suppose to be "the most transparent administration ever"? Remember the 'no lobbyist' promise? (that was good for some laughs) How about the paying-down-the-debt promise? And wasn't the "change" suppose to include the closing of that horrible torture chamber called gitmo? Oh ya, and we won't torture, we'll just kill you from the sky with no trial as long as the king wants you dead.

That's just a few things that were suppose to change.. oh, but we were suppose to be the change after all. WEAK!

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Conventions are preaching to the Choir. I don't trust polls either. We shall see come Nov 6. Are people willing to face reality, or do we want another 4 yrs of kicking the can down the road.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

A fan of Maureen Dowd, huh? Perhaps you'll like this column of hers as well:

MESSAGE: They care.

Republicans care deeply. They really do.

They care deeply about making us think that they care deeply.

That’s why they knocked themselves out producing a convention that was a colossal hoax.
