On NBC's "Meet the Press,"Netanyahu dismissed the idea that Obama snubbed him last week by turning down a request to meet when the two are in New York later this month for the United Nations General Assembly.
"We've had our discussions. Our schedules on this visit didn't work out," Netanyahu said.
The Israeli leader also pushed back on the idea that he is upset with the Obama administration for not drawing a red line with Iran over its development of nuclear capabilities. He made it clear last week that he is growing frustrated with the United States for continuing to rely on peaceful methods and generated speculation that Israel is getting ready to strike Iran on its own.
"No," he said Sunday. "President Obama has said that he's determined to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons and I appreciate that and I respect that." Asked again if Obama has thrown Israel under the bus by not being more firm with Iran -- a reference to a charge by Romney that Obama has "thrown allies like Israel under the bus" in his first term -- Netanyahu replied, "There is no bus."

You mean gives him billions to support the socialist economy of his country?FredHayek wrote: More naive? Netanyahu is not going to publicly attack an administration he needs to work with more than ever before.

I was extremely impressed with his football knowlege and used it to say that Iran is in the red zone and about to make a touchdown with nuclear. That really blew me away. But what happened was the moderator from meet the press asked him over and over if he was mad Obama, if he thought Romney was wrong on some of his comments and wouldn't let it go. It was obvious that Netanyahu didn't care and didn't want to answer. David Gregory was obnoxious and actually tried to put words in his mouth for the purpose of ratings. It was embarrassing and not what I would expect from a Meet the Press moderator. I was embarrassed as well. He told him over and over he was not going to get dragged into a political debate from the elections. The guy has to work with who wins he isn't and shouldn't have to be dragged into those questions.
David Gregory, and Meet the press should be ashamed of themselves it was ambush and not becoming at all. Talk about amateur hour.
And Huffington post is just trying to benefit as well.
