And there's much more but you'll ignore the facts and continue to believe the morons on MSNBC. Put down the weed and the White Russian and get out a little more

I'm speaking to "The Dude" who is a charactor in a movie. That fact that you don't know "The Dude" , is not of concern to me. It was a joke and you don't get it so just lighten up.

It makes sense. Obama has been looking to his re-election since the day he was elected, as do all politicians. He has tempered his stance many times, one would have to guess that re-election concerns were at least somewhere in the mix of inputs that lead to his decisions.

Without the possibility of re-election looming over him, that moderating influence will be null and void. He can piss off the voters all he wants, as long as the democratic party sets up the next front runners as more moderate than Obama, they'll still be setting up well for the next election.

I don't know that he'll vary widely from his current platform, but the possibility is there, and can't really be denied. Second terms are always a risk if the politician has shown any tendency to swing to an extreme.

I have no doubt Obama will go as hard left as possible if re-elected. All you have to do is read his books, listen to his words prior to his election, and look at the people he has held in the highest esteem. People don't change their core beliefs, especially when he has so many supporters who share them.

Well, Romney is starting from the extreme right, and you think independents well embrace that?

His social agenda wanders pretty far to the right.

Exactly....I know the election is supposedly about the economy, but for me it is much more than that. I wasn't so concerned about Romney till he decided to embrace the far right social agenda......no abortion even in cases of rape/incest/life of the mother.....complete removal of Obamacare.....though he is walking that back a bit, pandering to the tax cuts but no revenue increases Tea Party. I don't trust him to follow his own conscience, only to try and keep the radical right base happy. He's not his own man anymore, he's a puppet for everything in the far right agenda I despise.
