Zero Dark Thirty is coming to a theater near you.
Will you go to the theater to see it? Are you brave enough?
The Kate Bigelow production, long in the works, details the hunt down and kill of Osama bin Ladin. Heaps of praise and glory go to the men who accomplished this mission, Seal Team Six, who hunted and killed. Heaps of praise go to President Obama, too.
The scheduled release was to coincide with President Obama's re-election bid but Sony Pictures moved it back for a December 2012 release. President Obama has not been shy about beating the victory drum about how "he got Osama". In fact, one of the themes of the Democrat Convention was "General Motors is Alive and Osama bin Laden is Dead". There are questions regarding the former, but that is another article. The point being, is that President Obama was, as they say, "spiking" the Osama football often and early.
Considering the attackers at the Egyptian embassy were shouting "We are all Osama's now, Obama," can we expect an apology from the State Department in advance? Will Kate Bigelow be huddled off and questioned about this supposed attack on Islam? Will the world burn? Will that smell in the theaters across the US not be from burnt popcorn?
