Border Industrial Complex?

NPR had a story this morning about the border and how since the US economy has tanked under Obama and Mexico's economy has improved illegal immigration is down. So maybe we don't need this big expensive fence after all? But the border States have come to like the federal money spent on construction and wages for border agents and support. Hard to wean people off those funds in traditional poor regions.

What funds. Haven't you heard, the fence is done. The only way we could make it better is to dig a moat and stock it with alligators. rofllol

How expensive is a fence anyway. I'll bet any handyman up here could have gotten it done for under a billion. The only people that I hear whining about the cost are politicians who do not want a secure border and lie as easily as they breath.

Sounds like all the 9/11 homeland security money that went to all law enforcement that they used for toys. I forgot what Park County spent theirs on... something to do with a SWAT team or machine guns or something?
