Tom Tancredo Endorses Marijauna Ballot Issue

:pop Munchies all around.
...but just like Madonna, will Tom's endorsement actually lose the measure votes?

World upside down? Liberal types like Hickenlooper want to keep onerous penalties on marijuana possesion filling up our prisons and conservatives like Tom want to let the people torch up legally.

Yep- again it's liberals telling us what we can't do- and conservatives wanting less regulation and government control.

Good for Tom- but I guess the left will still call him a racist for wanting to protect our borders.

Broken clock, blind squirrel. But a good decision from TT for a change. Hick is protecting his industry and pandering to the right, shame on him.

Pandering to the right? How do you figure that? It's the right that wants it to pass so we can have a showdown with the federal government over States' rights, maybe even begin a reversal of the usurpation of power that has gone on for the last 100 years.

Boulder is considering banning smoking on the Pearl Street Mall. Know why? They don't want to have to deal with folks hanging out smoking pot on the mall after the measure passes. You want to try and pass that off as pandering to the right as well?

Really about Pearl Street Mall? I had heard medical marijuana use would still be tolerated.

Boulder dosn't care if you smoke dope- but they are nazi's about cigarette smoke. Boulder was the first city to ban cigarette smoking in Colorado in bars and resturants.

I was living in Boulder at that time, and used to enjoy firing up a smoke after lunch. I moved out of Boulder by the end of that month that they passed the ban. Of course it didn't take too long for the state to follow suit.

The city dosn't get any of the money I earn anymore, unless I stop in for a beer at the Mountain Sun- or hit a bluegrass show at the Boulder Theater.

For the most part- I stay away from Boulder now, just too many laws, rules and regulations for me.

Dope- OK - Tobacco- Not OK. That's Boulder PC for ya.

You aren't allowed, by State statute, to smoke medical marijuana in public Fred.

When and Where You Can Legally Use Medical Marijuana

If you hold a state medical marijuana registry card, you may use medical marijuana and possess the paraphernalia required for medical use. However, you may not use medical marijuana if:

Your medical marijuana use endangers the health or well-being of another person
You are in plain view of the general public
You are in a place open to the general public
You are driving a motor vehicle

In these situations, you may be arrested and prosecuted despite your possession of a medical marijuana license.

Yep. Some of the family/values nanny state people transcend party lines, like MADD, Bloomberg, porn censors, DARE types.
