I stopped shopping at Whole Foods a while ago and buy exclusively at Vitamin Cottage, it is less expensive and more reliable. All their produce/fruit is organic, unlike Whole foods, where you have to check every item and a lot of times it is NOT organic, but mixed in with it. So paying a high price for junk... no thanks.
There was also publicized some time ago by an employee that their employee discount policy was changed to link the amount of discount an employee got to their body mass index - the less body fat the more discount. While they can do what they want with their business policies, that turned me off.

Unintended consequences? So the fat employees decide to buy the unhealthy food from King Soopers rather than having to pay the premuim for healthy food at Whole Foods.
