Mitt Romney's Wealthy Donors May Be Fleeing Campaign: Report

Mitt Romney's campaign may be suffering in more than just the battleground states.

Fox Business' Charlie Gasparino reports [WAIT A MINUTE...FOX BUSINESS?!?!?] that some wealthy donors who have made financial commitments to the Romney campaign are reneging, and instead, opting to send their money to Republican House and Senate candidates who they see as having a better chance of winning next month.

Citing two sources, including "a major player in Romney’s New York fundraising circles," [FOX's] Gasparino notes that some donors are losing faith that the Republican nominee can beat Obama.

As The Huffington Post's Mark Blumenthal reports, the president is ahead "by statistically meaningful margins in all of the battleground states except North Carolina."

Obama also leads Romney 49 percent to 47 percent among likely voters in a new nationwide Washington Post/ABC survey.

As of Monday, HuffPost's Election Dashboard -- an analysis of hundreds of local and national opinion polls -- showed the president leading Romney in electoral votes, 332 to 191. Two hundred and seventy electoral votes are needed to win.

Wow... The RATS ARE deserting the sinking ship...so to speak.

Must be all those "over-sampled Democrat voters"...(even in Fox's own polls...) How did THAT happen?

You must be worried about your choice if you are so constantly looking for and posting material about Romney. Looks like many national polls have the race back to a slim lead for the POTUS. money back in congressional and Senate races they think are still winnable? ....but I thought the Dems were taking back the legislature? Then it would make more sense to support Dems do you can get awarded those lucrative infrastructure projects and let them iinstall more tax loopholes for you.

Hardly... Remember, we're the party that's WAY ahead in the polls...

You must be awfully worried about your choice if you feel so threatened by all of the material I keep finding showing what a sleazebag, plutocratic incompetent candidate RMoney is.

Looks like we'll be keeping the Senate, and knocking several of the teabagger wackos in the House out... It would be nice if we retook the House, but I don't think the numbers are there. But I think it's going to be a lot harder for the GOTP to ram through their drivel--Oh, sorry... Their "laser-like focus on jobs."
