The Consequences of the Benghazi Terrorist Attack

Just wondering what you all think about the fallout from this attack and who may be damaged politically. Even though Obama has avoided saying this was a terrorist attack, i don't think this will hurt him as much as it will hurt Sec. of State Clinton who has the ultimate responsiblity for the protection of US diplomats. It's obvious now that there was not adequate protection for the four men killed by terrorists on 9/11 even after the ambassador raised concerns for his own safety.

I don't know how this one could be spun away and swept under the carpet. I have always believed that Hillary would be the prime candidate for the dems in 2016... this whole mess could very well derail her chances imo. Somebody at the top was responsible for having non-US military security in a country where a dictator was just replaced by rebels who are not proven allies of the US. Someone was responsible for a timely investigation which was anythiing but timely. This reminds me of Fast and Furious in that nobody on the left wants to point a finger at the top, they just want this to go away. I hope the American people get the straight story eventually, and if we do, I think Hillary will get most of the blame and this attack will tarnish her record forever.

Tell me why I'm wrong. (or tell my who's fault this is)

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

This is getting a lot of play on Fox but I don't see much interest in middle America. You just expect that stuff to happen in unstable countries after their dictator is overthrown.

If the mistakes in Iraq and Afghanistan didn't bring down Bush, I doubt this issue will bring down Obama.
