Obama Credit Card Donations Don't Require Security Codes

[*]"Yes we are so desperate for cash we will take donations from stolen credit cards." Barack's campaign also pulled the same trick in 2008 before getting caught. Is that why Obama had a record month in September? Please check your statements and see if you are a unwilling donor.

Yeah, that's the first thing a credit card thief is going to do after stealing a credit card: donate money to a presidential campaign. rofllol

No place accepting credit cards on the internet I have used has not required a security code. And I use a corporate purchasing card daily.

President Obama’s campaign web site does not meet the industry standard for secure use of credit cards — nor do about 47 percent of campaign web sites, including the 2010 campaign web site of Sen. Marco Rubio.

Of the 446 House and Senate members who have an online donation page, 47.3% do not require the three or four digit credit card security number (officially called the Card Verification Value, or the CVV) for Internet contributions.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) laws do not require federal candidates to use the same kinds of industry-standard, anti-fraud credit card security measures commonly used when purchasing things online.

So quit trying to make it sound like it's only the Obama campaign doing this.

it that is all you have to complain about, then Obama's chances are looking pretty good.

Well, Obama's people did fix it in 2008 and chose to not do this for his re-election. You think the President would want to set a good example.

But instead we have his team of 285 apologists racing to his defense. Let's make election fraud easy! And not hold our candidate to the standards of the those evil corporations. Good to know Bain and Haliburton maintain higher standards than our elected polticians.

Again, you want different standards for Obama than other candidates.

I'd suggest your beef is with the Federal Election Commission.

If they have to concede this isn't an Obama issue, they'll have to go back to blaming him for their hang nails and last weeks cold weather
