Question for Obama / Clinton Supporters

How do you feel about the Benghazi terrorist attack... specifically, do youu think the WH or Sect of State Clinton attempted to brush the lack of security under the rug? Or do you not think this killing is something we should even care about? Just asking because it seems like Big Bird is getting a ton of MSM airplay and I have a hard time finding left wing opinion on the first successful terrorist attack since 9/11. (I think the Fort Hood shooting was the first but according to Obama, it was just "workplace violence").

Anyone?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I don't blame anyone. Ambassador Stevens knew where he was going and he knew what security he had before he got there. Some say that Chris Stevens had perhaps an unrealistic expectation about Benghazi because he spent so much time there during the war, he knew how well liked he was by many of the people and perhaps he wasn't cautious enough about the threat from the militia.

Remember this was not the embassy in Tripoli. Even more security at the embasy would not have helped in Benghazi. It's 2 hours away by air.

Terrorist attacks happen daily in Afghanistan and as the result troops get killed. Both are dangerous parts of the world to be in and all who put themselves there (troops and diplomats) are aware of the dangers. I think the focus of lack of security is monday morning QB just like after any attack. Personally, I think using the ambassadors death or any US soldiers death as a political tool is low. He was doing the job he desired and got killed by some fanatics in the process. Frankly, I was a bit surprised it had not happened elsewhere in the past 10 years.

So in an unstable country that just went through a revolt against a dictator, there was plenty of security? Do you also believe that the WH was being honest in the first week after the terrorist attack?

Anything the White House said in the first week was conjecture because we didn't know exactly what happened and who was responsible. If Obama had claimed it was a terrorist attack then the Republicans would have been screaming that he was using the terrorist word in an election season for political purposes. I believe every president tries to be cautious how they characterize an incident like this until an investigation is complete.

Whatever he did, it certainly was better than Mitt-the-Twit getting up there and making a total buffoon of himself by releasing a statement that had no relationship to "facts", because it was released before the attack was finished and the facts were known.

But, hey, the "Blooper Reel" Tour in the U.K. where he was able to insult our closest ally and political friend was priceless, wasn't it?

Watching the hearings as we speak.
It appears that he arrived in Libya with a reasonable amount of security as testified to. Security was diminished as tensions were rising and repeated requests for additional security were denied by the State Department.
With all due respect.....I prefer to hear opinions from folks who actually listen to what is happening rather than wait for a media spin on it.

As for feeling safe in America......I don't feel all that safe right now. Our enemies believe we are weak. Our President apologizes on our behalf every chance he gets.

My question to our President........you are our President first and on the campaign trail 2nd. Could you please just sit in the chair for a moment and attempt to lead this country?.

Like the way Obama continues to insult our closest ally in the Middle East, Israel?

Another sin of ommision by an administration that is in over its head? Think other diplomats in unstable countries like Egypt feel like the White house and State Department have their back? I know I would think for a long time before signing my re-enlistement papers if I was assigned to the foreign service in a Islamic country like Pakistan or even Indonesia.

The US military likes to say everybody comes home, Clinton's foreign service has modified this, everybody comes home after the body has been burned, dragged through the street, and ransomed.
