So much for "free universal health care."

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Eeek!!!

BOO!!!

And from that well-known source that Righties love to quote, (when it occasionally--and intermittently--supports something they think...), Politifact:

"Obamacare … means that for up to 20 million Americans, they will lose the insurance they currently have, the insurance that they like and they want to keep." -- Romney
...Politifact: FALSE

"President Obama's health care law is "a government takeover of healthcare." -- George Allen, Mitt Romney
...Politifact: PANTS-ON-FIRE (The LIE that won't die)

"Says Dow Chemical decided to build a plant in Saudi Arabia rather than Oklahoma due to the impact of environmental regulations on the supply of natural gas." -- Mitt Romney
...Politifact: FALSE

"The IRS is already planning on 19,500 new employees to administer" Obama’s health care mandate. — Pants on Fire!" -- John Huntsman
"Says the Internal Revenue Service estimated it must hire "16,500 agents at a cost of $10 billion to the taxpayer" to enforce the federal health care overhaul." -- Saxby Chambliss
...Politifact: PANTS-ON-FIRE (The LIE that won't die)

"States still face a "mandate" to expand Medicaid coverage under President Obama's health care reform law. -- Gov. Bob McDonnell
...Politifact: PANTS-ON-FIRE, "Misstated the truth for more than a day until he was called on it and had to "walk it back."

"Says the health care law rations care, like systems in Canada and Great Britain. -- Rick Scott
...Politifact: FALSE, "Empty rhetoric"

"A company with "20 employees" could go "out of business" because of health care law requirements to buy insurance. -- Rick Scott
...Politifact: PANTS-ON-FIRE, "Blatantly wrong"

"Says "Barack Obama and his team" are "socialists in every respect of the word." -- Mark Neumann
...Politifact: PANTS-ON-FIRE, "fanning old flames of empty claim"

Dang, Dude... Bitch-slapped down again...

Nah, I'll send it to you, because you post this crap from the usual bat-sh*t-crazy sources just to see if any of it will stick to the wall...

Psssst. It didn't.....

The article appears to originate from the Orlando Sentinel.

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business ... 5128.story

It is a legitimate concern to consider the consequences of a new "part time without benefits" workforce earning low wages and depending more on government benefits. Sorta the Walmart model expanded. Consider a full time employee with other company benefits who is demoted to part-time, and loses other benefits. And their Obama-care subsidy will depend on total household income which may be higher than what they get from part time work. It is not so simple to evaluate. Maybe they get two part time jobs without bennies, and earn too much for a Obama care subsidy. Lots of possibilities.

The law of "Unintended Consequences" will be in force in 2014 The new 29 hour work week.

"Analysts say many other companies, including the White Castle hamburger chain, are considering employing fewer full-timers because of key features of the Affordable Care Act scheduled to go into effect in 2014. Under that law, large companies must provide affordable health insurance to employees working an average of at least 30 hours per week."

Worker hours will be cut if Obama wins with or without ACA. Already defense contractors are preparing layoff notices.

DENVER — Vestas, the largest manufacturer of wind turbines in the world, laid off another 80 Colorado employees from its plant in Brighton Friday, just four weeks before Election Day.

http://kdvr.com/2012/10/09/vestas-continues-layoffs-in-brighton-as-tax-credit-lingers/
There goes another 80 jobs down the tubes- another 80 families to add to the "struggling" column.

Vestas has announced plans to lay off some 3,700 workers worldwide by the end of the year.

Good job Obama- and for everyone out there, government subsidy only creates a false economy. Real sustainability in the job market necessarily requires real market economics- not industry propped up by taxpayer dollars.

Yet one more "lesson" for the liberals.
