With President Obama holed up in a Nevada resort for debate practice, things can get pretty boring on the White House beat right now. Pretty boring for Obama too, apparently. "Basically they're keeping me indoors all the time," Obama told a supporter on the phone during a visit to a Las Vegas area field office. "It's a drag," he added. "They're making me do my homework."
The campaign seems to be cutting into Barry's tee times and celebrity appearances, worse, his staff are not convinced he knows what he should be talking about and/or what the important issues are.
P.S. - There are rumors that Barry is in the process of buying a home in Hawaii and planning to move in in 2013. More to follow via future posts.

Why would he be planning to move in 2013? He may very well still be president. You've still got 30 days or so of Mittens shooting his mouth off. No telling how that will end.

The Pew poll is devastating, just devastating. Before the debate, Obama had a 51 - 43 lead; now, Romney has a 49 - 45 lead. That's a simply unprecedented reversal for a candidate in October. Before Obama had leads on every policy issue and personal characteristic; now Romney leads in almost all of them. Obama's performance gave Romney a 12 point swing! I repeat: a 12 point swing.
It will be an interesting week for the President with another debate to get through on top of those pesky hearings in Congress that are dealing directly with his poor apologetic foreign policy.
