If Starbucks had a poll I am sure Obama would be leading by 80%.

There have been numerous discussions where it has been brought up that the Republicans will hold their noses and vote for Romney simply because he isn't Obama. I'm beginning to wonder if Obama wins this election it will be simply because he's not Romney.

Most elections come down to that. Partly due to negative campaign ads.

I suspect so. Obama has been a horrible leader and president. Romney isn't a messiah (like Obama voters thought in 2008, and were sadly mistaken). I suspect a lot of people will vote "anyone but Obama", and I suspect, partly due to the media demonizing republicans, and making them believe the republicans are evil, that a lot of people will vote Obama...just because he isn't republican.

Sad state of affairs. We know what we will have with Obama for another 4 yrs. With Romney, who knows. Do you stick with the known loser, or do you take a shot with someone who might be a loser, but might not be. Seems like a pretty easy pick to me. We at least have a shot of making changes with Romney.

For many, better the devil you know. Romney and Ryan are viewed as being far right, in spite of Romney's recent move to the middle. Change for the sake of change can make things worse, and there are a lot of voters unwilling to take that risk.

I would disagree. Of course, I'm also of the opinion that congress should have term limits. You've got a chance to make a difference. If you do not succeed, or you are unable to lead people, then leave, and let someone else do so. Obama even said that himself...if he didn't have things going after 3 yrs, it would be a one term proposition. He should have stuck by that, decided not to run again, and let someone else try. I'm sure there is a democrat who has some clue how to revive a stuck economy!

Romney is no "far right" guy. He is pretty moderate. He may not be able, or be willing to institute the changes we really need to be fiscally solvent. I'm on record saying if he is elected, and is unsuccessful in making the needed changes, he should let someone else try in 4 yrs.

That is not true... RMoney is only "moderate" when the cameras are turned on. He's supported Ryan's personhood-amendment; stated he will sign anything that destroys Roe V. Wade; will kill Planned Parenthood; and will appoint Justices that are anti-Roe V. Wade.

Wanna try again?

So? Think he will be able to get any of that past a Dem controlled Senate? Think he will be able to get any Supreme Court Justices approved by the Senate that aren't moderate?

If Obama the wunderkind can't do anything with Boehner's house, why are you so scared of that idiot Mitt being able to oveturn anything Obama has done?
According to you guys, Mitt can barely walk and talk at the same time.

And that has WHAT to do with where RMoney stands? His positions are his positions. (In fact, it's all in the GOTP Platform)..And he is NOT a moderate--(except when the cameras are rolling.)

Your apologist nonsense gets more ridiculous by the day...
