"Today, former CIA director Michael Hayden and former Homeland Security secretary Michael Chertoff issued the following statement about Vice President Biden’s dissembling last night about the September 11 tragedy in Benghazi:
During the Vice Presidential debate, we were disappointed to see Vice President Biden blame the intelligence community for the inconsistent and shifting response of the Obama Administration to the terrorist attacks in Benghazi. Given what has emerged publicly about the intelligence available before, during, and after the September 11 attack, it is clear that any failure was not on the part of the intelligence community, but on the part of White House decision-makers who should have listened to, and acted on, available intelligence. Blaming those who put their lives on the line is not the kind of leadership this country needs."
Both "former" CIA and Homeland Security, may or may not know what was said to who and when. Why not let the investigation play out before we use this tragic incident as a political football?
Never mind, a Republican would use the death of his own mother to score political points. I withdraw my suggestion.
Looks like Obama missed too many intelligence briefings. Even after one of the ambassadors he appointed was killed in Libya he skipped the morning meet to go to Vegas. Priorities.

You are quite wrong as usual. Republicans do not have mothers. They are hatched out of reptilian eggs, but you knew that.

Don't you find it a little strange that Stephanie Cutter is blaming Romney/Ryan for the terrorist attack being a political issue? If this was Bush and he blamed the attack on a video in front of the UN a week later (while knowing full well it was terrorism at that point)... wouldn't you be wondering why? And if Cheney had said the administration was unaware of requests for more security, wouldn't that seem a little fishy to you?
The State Dept admitted they knew it was terrorism in the first 24 hours... and nobody informed Obama and Biden? And who gave Susan Rice the video excuse that she used 5 days after the attack?
None of this makes sense to me... does it make sense to you?
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
No, it doesn't make sense, which is why I will wait til an investigation sorts it out. What I do know is that saying it was a terrorist attack before all the facts were in the republicans would have been screaming about Obama using the "t" word in the midst of a campaign. Nothing he said would have made the GOP happy.
