Shot fired at Obama campaign headquarters in Denver
Police say someone fired a shot at an Obama campaign field office in Denver on Friday afternoon.
No one was injured, though people were inside the offices when the incident occurred, said Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez.
"It looks like it was one shot that was fired into the structure," she said.
The incident happened at about 3 p.m. at the campaign's offices on West Ninth Avenue near Acoma Street, Lopez said.
Sam Levin, a reporter for the alternative newspaper Westword, later posted a photo on Twitter showing one of the office's large, front windows broken out. By early evening, the window shards had been removed and a glass company was putting plywood up.
Lopez said police have a description of a "possible vehicle of interest." She said she could not release that information while detectives are reviewing any available video footage of the incident and pursuing leads.
An Obama campaign spokeswoman declined to comment on the incident, instead referring a question to the police.
Gee, this is almost as good as the guy in the Jeep last week who apparently spent a couple of hours terrorizing motorists on both the NB and SB sides of C-470 from Ken Caryl to Alameda Pkwy. He would come up behind anyone with an Obama bumper-sticker on their car, honk, flip them the 'bird', get right up on their bumper, then pull in front of them, jam the brakes and attempt to run them off the road...While holding up an obscene sign for them to see.
Fortunately, someone got a license plate number, and he was picked up at his house....in Evergreen... And given a free ride down to the Department.... (Oh, and he was stupid enough to leave the obscene Obama sign that he'd been flashing to the motorists he was attempting to assault laying on the front seat...)

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
You get nuts on all sides. Didn't one dem campaign office during the DNC actually get destroyed by a former employee? Some people just need to step back and realize no matter who wins it is not the end of the world. Thee are checks and balances in the system to ensure new free elections are just around the corner.
