I am just saying eliminating a weekend of voting isn't disenfranchisment. According to your standards, they should let people vote two weeks after the election just in case they forgot to go to the polls.

Anything that would increase the participation of Americans in the voting process (one of the lowest percentages in the free world) is OK by me, although your idea is kinda dumb.
Then we'd have to have another two weeks after for people who forgot to vote during the I forgot to vote time. Where would it end?
