Romney: the veto king when Governor

18 Oct 2012 17:20 #1 by Raees
Romney noted that he cast "over 800 vetoes when necessary" (although more than 700 of them were overturned by the legislature) and said he worked with the legislature "when possible." He did not address the question of dealing with a deadlocked U.S. Congress, although he has criticized both Obama and congressional Republicans for agreeing to mandate a $1.2 trillion cut in future federal spending.

I don't trust a good deal of what AARP panders these days. We are members of AMAC.

So are you trying to say that the post is a lie, that Romney did not veto over 800 bills, of which 700 vetos were overturned? Or are you simply babbling?

Facts are facts. Just because they don't bolster your preconceived notions doesn't make them partisan. Romney was the one who mentioned the fact to the AARP.

Interesting that something Romney says to AARP, turns into complaints about AARP. What's up with that?

Ok, we can write it off to your elderly dementia. FYI, please feel free to start your own thread on the merits of AARP, this thread is directed to the lack of bipartisanship of Romney.
