(CNSNews.com) – New York and Massachusetts are administering food stamps to 2,000 dead people, according to Sen. Tom Coburn’s (R-Okla.) catalog of government waste.

Among his findings, Coburn said that, “The USDA Inspector General found roughly 2,000 dead people are still receiving food stamps in New York and Massachusetts combined.”

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Congress is 2012’s biggest waste of taxpayer money, according to Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), a budget hawk who each year releases a “Wastebook” detailing government’s worst examples of excessive spending.

In this year’s list, Coburn notes that Congress — one-half of which is controlled by his own party — is on track to be at its least productive since 1947. It has approved only 61 laws this year, and Coburn says money spent to run Congress has been a waste.

(Oh, and Coburn is a member of that same Congress)

Gee, the GOTP wastes more taxpayer money than that having congressional attorney's fees covered for their members who have to defend themselves against lawsuits for sexual harrassment, and fraud...
