It's not about you, it's about getting people to participate in the process. Think about 40% fewer votes on Election Day

Oh wait, you're a Republican What was I thinking?

Voting early and often is the Chicago way. Michele Joe & Barack are planning to vote early in every battleground state. (Kidding!)

It only sounds "weird" to some people if he has a (D) after his name. If it were an (R) they would be perfectly okay with it.... :Snooze

I usually vote early because my job consists of strings of emergencies. I may be out of town with my head buried in a transmitter on November 6th. Why don't you agree with it? Are you counting on the October surprises? I disagree with those...

Early voting definitely benefits workers. Since we don't proclaim election day a national holiday, some people find it hard to take off enough time during the day to stand in line and vote, waiting till the end of the day means even longer lines and it isn't much fun to stand for an hour or more with cranky kids especially in bad weather. Anything we can do that makes voting more convenient so that more people participate in the process is good for the country. Whether it is mail in ballots or polling places we need to make voting, early our otherwise,a priority in more peoples lives.

The big disadvantage of early voting is late info coming out about who you voted for. Suppose you find out something really nasty about your choice.

He could be impeached like Bill Clinton who had to pay massive fines and was disbarred.

Clinton was not disbarred. Plus, Clinton's impeachment did NOT stand up in the Senate. Remember, an impeachment is only an accusation (or indictment). The House (GOP majority) voted to impeach. The Senate (evenly split) voted NOT to withhold the impeachment.

The failed attempt at having his impeachment upheld in the senate highlighted the dishonorable motives within the GOP for moving forward with an impeachment that did not have support beyond party lines.
