I usually vote early because my job consists of strings of emergencies. I may be out of town with my head buried in a transmitter on November 6th. Why don't you agree with it? Are you counting on the October surprises? I disagree with those...

I don't know it doesn't feel right.

I just like getting it out of the way. One of my friends prefers waiting in line with his neighbors, voting as a social event. Of course he is also a neighborhood board member so he gets to press flesh, etc.

The failed attempt at having his impeachment upheld in the senate highlighted the dishonorable motives within the GOP for moving forward with an impeachment that did not have support beyond party lines.

Oh darn.. There you go again busting a perfectly good right-wing rant with FACTS... Don't you hate it when that happens...........NOT... rofllol

True, but Clinton's trouble was with Arkansas, not the senate.

In 2000 the Arkansas Supreme Court's Committee on Professional Conduct called for the disbarment of President Bill Clinton, saying he lied about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. In January 2001 Clinton reached an agreement under which he was ordered to pay $25,000 in fines to Arkansas state's bar officials and his Arkansas law license was suspended for five years.[4] The agreement came on the condition that Whitewater prosecutors would not pursue federal perjury charges against him.[5] Clinton was suspended by the Supreme Court in October 2001, and, facing disbarment from that court, Clinton resigned from the Supreme Court bar in November.[6]

I vote on election day- there's all kinds of problems with the mail-in system we have. There's no way to properly verify that the actual voter is the one who signed the envelope.

The Jeffco election official claims that they have a computer that verify's signatures against those they have on file- from years past- so if the computer dosn't like your signature for whatever reason- if your signature is different from 8 years ago or however long - the computer will trash your vote.

By the way- there's no way to tell if the computer rejected your ballot. There is no accountability- the election office just releases raw numbers, and no details. The computer could be rejecting your ballot year after year- because they have the wrong signature on file. There's no way to verify if they have the correct signature on file- or if the computer is verifying signatures with any degree of accuracy. It's a bad deal.

I vote in person- I drop the ballot in the box- I think I have a better chance of getting my vote counted this way. Jeffco threw away several hundred votes in the last election, some were probably valid- who the hell knows.

The mail-in system should be eliminated- ID's should be required, or no voting should be allowed- computer verification of signatures should be outlawed.

My polling place has not had much of a line at all- I'm usually in and out in 5 minutes. I love Evergreen.

P.S. I already voted 67 times- only 90 more to go.
