Watched a bit of OReilly last night and Dick Morris predicted Romney would get 300 electoral votes and would win easily... something he's been claiming for quite a while now. At first I thought he was full of shit, but I'm starting to see his reasoning a little.
Romney has been the underdog since day one according to the earliest polls before the first debate. There are many states that were seen as a lock for Obama up until recently. Because of this, neither candidate spent much money in them (like Pennsylvania) and focused much more on the "swing states". Obama spent much more money early while Romney was holding back until later in the campaign. Now that Romney sees states Like PA evening up, he can blast them with new ads they haven't seen yet which should help move theneedle his way. This will force Obama to do the same... spending money in states he thought were locked up which will dilute his pile of money that was suppose to be used for the swing states.
I can't imagine this will be anything but a close race, but it does seem to be a huge advantage to be surging at the end instead of starting off will a big lead.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Whether the left wants to believe it or not.....There is a definite shift in this campaign. I saw it with my own eyes last night. 10000 people enduring a bit of adversity to just be a part of a huge movement happening all over this country was pretty amazing. Obama took a big chunk of the young adult vote four years ago. i would say that they were well represented last night at the Romney event. All this negative vitriol is NOT going to help Obama. He has no record to run on so all he and they can do is try to get people to run from Romney. It is time for a change and I think I am in good company with that belief. Nov 6 will tell us if I am right.
Yep, all those students in college in 08 are now unemployed and probably getting tired of living down in mom's basement, or dealing with the food stamp/UE bureaucracy. And the OWS crowd fizzled and went home too. Wahhh whaa. Where's my job? LOL
If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2
Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
I was shocked at the amount of young people at this event last night. I had several standing next to me and just listening to their enthusiasm was contagious.
I think to a certain measure Team Axelrod used their best stuff too early, like the Bain job losses and the tax returns so that now the public is bored with that and seeing the real Romney instead of the moneybags image they tried to create.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

Exactly  They shot their load early, spending hundreds of millions demonizing Romney and it was all washed away in 90 minutes rofllol

My friends in other countries are very excited to see R&R in their current view.
They said that Romney seems to care about the people more, and is more polished and less of an ego like the current prez. They also stated that Ryan comes off as very polished and professional, as opposed to "laughing clown man" in their words not mine.
It is kinda cool to talk with them and see how they follow what is going on here in America.
