ADP manages my companies payroll and they just sent us an advisory to limit the political talk between employees before the election. lol Pretty sad when political debate is being equated with verbal sexual harrasment.
Next thing you know, employees won't be able to talk about college or pro sports teams. CSU fans taunting Buff grads, etc.

Most people should have enough common sense not to talk politics in the workplace (at least when differing opinions are known). I learned early as a bartender that it's quite easy to make enemies over crap you can't control anyway. That's why I come here to vent... I could care less who is offended by my opinion.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
ADP? They're payroll clerks. What the heck are they thinking sending out an advisory like that?
But, I never talk politics at work. I chuckle when I see someone by the coffee pot going on and on about their political beliefs, and people try to avoid them or change the subject. There's just no place for that in the office. If confronted, I usually say something like "I'm still on parole, I can't vote." It's not true, but it shuts them up

ADP has expanded their services and act as our HR department. When you have multiple locations in different states, it can help have experts who know each state's employee rules.
